Message you are removing material from the counter balances, but yo got to remember that you are going with lighter pistons and rods, so you don't need as much counter balance.

any way any time you add after market internals you should rebalance the crank and the rods and pistons, so you balance it after the knife edge and it will be fine.

on the topic of balancing the crank, do you not recommend this too, because do you know how they balance a crank?

they drill material out of the counter balances.

their is nothing wrong with removing material from the counter balance weights as long as you balance it after you remove the weight.
